Another winter has come and gone, the groomers have been stored and the snowmobiles put away, however, the town of Greenville still has lots of fun to offer. Summer on Moosehead Lake is incredible! Pack up the family this summer and head north for a little boating, swimming, hiking and fourwheeling!

Greenville Trails Improved

Another snowmobile season is behind us and while the Moosehead Lake region didn't exactly break any snowfall records, there was still plenty of great riding to be done. While you can't do anything about Mother Nature, you can certainly make the best of it.

This past season our operators worked tirelessly to do their best to keep the trails in good riding condition (and due to this years weather, it was no easy feat). We'd once again like to thank everyone who made another year for Greenville ITS Trail Groomers possible. We also hosted another Family Fun Day that included face painting, a clown, a magician, free horse drawn wagon rides and a firework show to cap off a great day. So we'd like to extend another big thank you to all those who made that great day possible. We look forward to the winter of 10'-11' (which will hopefully bring lots of snow) and can't wait to get back on the trails!

In the mean time however, summer in Greenville is just as great as it is in winter. When you add together the great weather, hiking and four wheeling trails, golf course, fun shops on Main Street, beautiful mountains and scenery, plus boating and all the other activities that go with a 40+ mile lake, you have yourself a summer vacation you won't soon forget! So come on up this summer and see for yourself all that Greenville has to offer!

March Riding!
We would like to extend a huge Thank You to the
residence, home owners & land owners of the
Town of Greenville for voting to supplement our
grooming programs budget. Once again the Town
really stepped up and helped with our efforts. Last
year, the purchase of raffle tickets, donations and sponsors
made the season possible. This year, once again the
townspeople have kept Greenville ITS Trail Grooming
operating. So a big thanks to all those who made
last season possible, and to those who helped
get us back out on the trails again this year...
we thank you!

Greenville Trails Improved
"I am a member of Team Maineiac which is a
group of hard-core snowmobilers that is
running Cains Quest in Labrador this March.
We have been doing some extensive training
up in your area both on and off trail. I did want
to comment on the trail conditions. In the past I
have bypassed Greenville, due to their
conditions. I have seen HUGE
improvements in the quality and condition of
the trails this year. We have put on approx
3,500 miles between all the race sleds and not
on complaint. I will not exclude Greenville
from any destination plans, and with the
improved grooming fully expect it to turn back
into one of the premier locations for
Maine Snowmobiling"
