Signage Program:

The sign program which was implemented last year was a great success. This year we will continue to post mile marker signs and rescue/ emergency location information signs. Many expressed appreciation & found the signs helpful, so this year we will continue with the signs along the trails. We're also continuing with the program because everyone was so respectful. These signs are there for safety reasons and to assist riders if there's a need. The goal of this program is to help make trail rides safer, so we'd really like to express our gratitude for everyone keeping the signs in good condition. Safety is the most important thing when on the trails (aside from having fun!).

- If you have an emergency on the trail & need to call in a rescue: Give the Mile Marker closest to the incident.
- The yellow Mile Marker signs are on the ITS Trail between Shirley and Greenville
- The signs are yellow w/ black lettering and have a mile number, the trail route and direction you're heading

- The Southbound Markers have even numbers
- The Northbound Markers have odd numbers
